An outcome gate is a result you choose before a round opens. The boost waits. People can read that rule before they join. The boost page later shows whether the result matched the side you chose. You use the same idea in two places: Polymarket is the larger choice: the markets already exist, you pick one, and you cannot write your own question there. IMD Oracle is the smaller choice: you write your own yes/no question. On one round you pick one, not both. You can leave both off. The next round can use a different choice.

What you see when it is linked

  1. You pick the result that must be true (a Polymarket side, or Yes or No on an IMD Oracle question).
  2. The round waits until that result is known.
  3. On the boost page, you see the question, the side you needed, and whether it matched. Details are in Read a boost.

What differs

The two pages below only add the steps that belong to that choice. They do not repeat each other.

Polymarket

Search a market, read the short brief, and set when funding ends.

IMD oracle question

Ask a yes/no question, and pick Yes or No.
