Use this when you write your own yes/no question and the round waits for IMD Oracle to answer it. IMD Oracle is the smaller choice: you create that question. Polymarket is the other choice: you pick a market that already exists, and you cannot write the question there. On one round you pick one, not both. You can use it when the round raises USDC, B20 equity, or another ERC-20, including a later round. It is not limited to one campaign.
This oracle lane is experimental — use it at your own risk. Do your own research on IMD before you turn it on. Only a Yes or No answer is available.
The question fee is separate from HeroBoost billing. It is about 0.5 IMD, paid from your wallet on Ethereum mainnet, not on Base. You can pay for a new question in the wizard, or paste an oracle request you already have. A payment order id from checkout is not the request id.
1

Turn the question on

On the first round, the switch is Bind launch to an IMD oracle question. It is offered for USDC, B20 equity, and another ERC-20.On a later round, the section is External oracle gate (the yes/no question for this round). This round uses IMD Oracle or Polymarket, not both.

Write the question or use one you already paid for

What do you want to know? is the question. To pay here, use Pay for a new question here (~0.5 IMD). Your wallet must be on Ethereum mainnet with enough IMD. The first time that wallet pays, it may ask you to approve IMD once. After that, pay is usually signatures, and the request id is filled in for you.
Create Boost tip conditions with a new IMD question, public sources, and Pay for oracle question (~0.5 IMD, Ethereum)

A new question from public sources. Check with IMD is ready, and the button is Pay for oracle question (~0.5 IMD, Ethereum).

If you already have a request, choose I already have an IMD request ID and paste the oracle request id (or the job id from the IMD explorer). The question then loads as read-only.
Create Boost tip conditions with I already have an IMD request ID selected and Question from IMD read-only

I already have an IMD request ID is selected. The request ID is filled in, and Question from IMD is read-only.

Set when funding ends

Funding ends is when this round stops taking money. The platform uses that date for when the question should be settled — not only the words you wrote. On a later round, the round’s close is that same date.Ask a yes/no question that can be checked from public sources by that date. IMD can refuse a question that is only an opinion, or about a future nobody can check.
4

Pick Yes or No

Oracle outcome for this boost — choose Boost succeeds if the answer is Yes or Boost succeeds if the answer is No. If you choose Do not link an oracle, the round is created without this question.
On the boost page this shows as Oracle launch condition and Needed answer. See Read a boost.
